Expectations

In the media center, our expectations are aligned with the school's PBIS matrix of CARES: Come prepared, Always listen, Respect yourself and others, Exhibit excellence and Stay positive (your student ought to be able to recite them to you!). However, we've tweaked a few things:

Come prepared in the media center means come prepared to listen, observe, predict and enjoy!

Always listen to adults instructions, and to the reader.

Respect yourself and others means keep your predictions inside your head. Also, respect your media center, keeping the shelves neat and taking care of our library books. 

Exhibit excellence means you intend to become an excellent reader! How do you do that? Read, read read!

Stay positive means have a mindset to do your best, and remember the power of YET!
