Assistant Principal: Dr. Kenneth Ware

Dear Kemp Primary School Families, Staff, and Community Members,
It is with great pride and humility that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Kemp Primary School. As a proud graduate of Clayton County Public Schools, I am honored to return to the district that shaped me and now serve in a leadership role committed to advancing student success.
Throughout my journey, I’ve served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, gifted teacher, curriculum writer, and summer learning program manager. These roles have allowed me to support students and educators through research-based practices, collaborative planning, and strategic instructional leadership.
I also hold endorsements in the strategic areas of Reading, Mathematics, Gifted Education, and Coaching, which have equipped me to lead and support differentiated learning and effective interventions across all student groups. In addition, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to the development of English Language Arts and ASR curriculum for the district, work grounded in both equity and academic rigor.
My educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that EVERY child deserves access to high-quality instruction in a supportive, affirming environment. I believe that students thrive when schools are built on strong relationships, high expectations, and purposeful collaboration among educators, families, and community members.
At Kemp Primary, you can expect a leader who is present, responsive, and deeply committed to the success of every scholar and every teacher. I will work hard to foster a culture of belonging, academic growth, and joy throughout our school community.
I look forward to building strong partnerships with you and working together to make this an exceptional year.
Kenneth Ware, Ed.D.
Assistant Principal
Kemp Primary School
